I am delighted to have been selected as one of the GO-GN fellows this year. As part of my fellowship I am interested in identifying some of the foundations for open education that can be integrated into teacher education programs or shared with new or emerging teachers. I feel the best way to gather these foundations would be to ask the open education community directly, and so I am doing that using a brief survey. Please contribute your thoughts on what new or emerging teachers most need to know to get started as an open educator.

I would really appreciate your participation, whether you are in involved in teacher education, faculty/teacher professional development, or interested in open education. The survey should not take more than 3-5 minutes.

For every survey completed, I will be donating $5 CAD, up to a maximum of $1000 to the aid effort in Ukraine. This donation will be made to the Canadian Red Cross Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis Appeal (https://donate.redcross.ca/page/100227/-/1)

Thank you for your time and insight!

If you would like to learn more about the project, please see my post on the GO-GN website describing the fellowship plan. As well, I presented the project recently at the 2022 OER Conference and I am happy to share the video of the presentation below. Please reach out to me if you have any questions or comments.
